Main Responsibilities

  • Provide construction supervision and site management to ensure that work complies with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Support pre-construction services including needs assessments, technical reviews and preparation of tender and bid documentation.
  • Assist with design management and technical documentation such as Bills of Quantities, scope of work, drawings, and specifications.
  • Monitor progress and performance on worksites, and report regularly on quality, health and safety, environmental compliance, and schedule adherence.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks including material testing, site visits and conformity assessments.
  • Prepare progress reports, site monitoring reports, variation orders, and documentation required for contract administration and project close-out.
  • Support procurement processes by providing technical input to tender evaluations, contract awards and vendor selection.
  • Manage changes and design adjustments when necessary, collaborating with design teams and project managers to implement modifications.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, capacity building and training for local engineers and contractors, ensuring transfer of best practices.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience may substitute additional experience.
  • Minimum of four years’ relevant professional experience in construction management, infrastructure projects or civil works supervision.
  • Solid knowledge of construction standards, contract management (preferably including frameworks like FIDIC), and experience managing procurement and tendering processes.
  • Strong skills in project planning, monitoring, quality control, reporting and site supervision to ensure deliverables meet schedule, budget and safety standards.
  • Competency in technical documentation, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), specifications, engineering drawings and cost estimates.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams including procurement, design, contractors and local stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ethics, safety, environmental and social responsibility, and inclusive, transparent project implementation.
