Role Overview
The UNOPS Youth Engagement Platform brings together a diverse group of 30 young leaders under the age of 30. Its purpose is to ensure youth perspectives meaningfully influence UNOPS strategic direction while supporting progress toward the 2030 Agenda. The platform functions as an advisory group that contributes ideas, feedback, and youth driven insights on policy, programme design, advocacy, and major development initiatives. Membership in the UNOPS Youth Engagement Platform is a chance to contribute to areas such as climate resilience, social inclusion, infrastructure development, and global equality.

What You Will Do
- Advise UNOPS leadership on strategy, programming, and major initiatives through a youth focused lens.
- Provide insights on global development trends, challenges, and opportunities that affect young people.
- Represent youth interests in internal discussions and selected international forums.
- Offer guidance on project design with a focus on equity, participation, and sustainable outcomes.
- Help develop policy briefs, recommendations, and advisory notes that highlight youth priorities.
- Collaborate with other members to co create fresh, innovative, and inclusive solutions.
- Support advocacy, outreach, and youth empowerment activities within the development space.
