Key Responsibilities

The Paynow Sales Associate will recruit, sign, and activate agent network partners while ensuring they begin transacting within agreed service level timelines. The successful candidate will maintain a healthy sales pipeline, conduct structured client meetings using the IDEA consultative sales framework, and provide comprehensive onboarding support for newly signed partners.

Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate CRM records, submitting daily and weekly sales reports, achieving quarterly performance targets, contributing to monthly business performance reviews, and supporting balanced scorecard reporting. The role further requires developing consultative selling expertise, strengthening relationships with business partners, and driving sustainable growth across the Paynow agent network.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have between two and three years’ experience in B2B sales or business development involving pipeline management and commercial agreement negotiation. Candidates should also possess one to two years’ experience in agent network recruitment, channel sales, or partner onboarding within fintech, mobile money, or financial services.

Experience in consultative or solution-based selling, CRM platforms such as HubSpot, and structured sales forecasting is required. Experience working in lean commercial environments, preparing client account reviews, and analytical thinking will be considered advantageous.

Required Skills

Successful candidates should demonstrate strong consultative selling abilities, commercial pipeline management, relationship management, presentation skills, verbal and written communication, resilience, and knowledge of Zimbabwe’s payment ecosystem.
