About the Brand Manager Role
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing brand marketing strategies that strengthen Econet’s market position and support business objectives. The role focuses on managing the company’s brands and products while monitoring key performance indicators such as Top of Mind Awareness (TOMA), Brand Power Score, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
Working closely with the General Manager โ Marketing, the successful candidate will develop innovative campaigns, manage partnerships, and ensure brand consistency across all marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
The Brand Manager will assist the General Manager โ Marketing in developing and implementing comprehensive brand marketing strategies aligned with organisational goals. The successful candidate will prepare quarterly, bi-annual, and annual brand plans while creating thematic and tactical marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Responsibilities also include managing stakeholder relationships, coordinating partnership integration plans, monitoring marketing processes and procedures, and ensuring effective execution of branding initiatives. The role involves developing brand concepts for Econet products, creating brand identities including names, personas, and logos for new offerings, and driving long-term brand equity to achieve marketing and commercial objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess a Degree in Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent qualification. A relevant vocational qualification will be considered an added advantage. Candidates must have a minimum of four years’ experience in a similar or related environment, including at least one year in a management position.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage challenging projects, work with minimal supervision, and possess strong computer literacy and systems navigation skills. Econet Wireless Zimbabwe strongly encourages applications from persons with disabilities.
