Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Intern will assist with comparing quotations and negotiating with suppliers while supporting the preparation and monitoring of purchasing reports and key performance indicators. The successful candidate will scan, file, and maintain procurement documentation, assist with raising and processing purchase orders (POs), and support the expediting of goods deliveries.
Additional responsibilities include taking minutes during departmental meetings and ensuring procurement records remain organised and up to date.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should be studying towards a degree in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must possess at least five O’ Level passes, including Mathematics and English, together with a minimum of three A’ Level passes.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, good communication and interpersonal skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
