UN Women is officially seeking a Planning Monitoring and Reporting consultant to support the Sudan Country Office. This one-year consultancy is home-based and operates on a part-time schedule. As a Planning Monitoring and Reporting consultant, you will report to the Country Representative and facilitate the integration of monitoring systems into ongoing program formulation.
Key Duties for the Planning Monitoring and Reporting consultant
The consultant provides the technical leadership necessary to maintain robust reporting standards for international donors.
- Strategic Planning: Contributing to the development of the Annual Work Plan and the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Plan.
- Technical Design: The consultant will assist project managers in drafting Theories of Change and result chains.
- Systems Oversight: Managing the maintenance of the Sudan Program profile on internal management systems including PGAMS and PRISM.
- Field Coordination: Standardizing data collection and analysis from field visits to inform management briefs and decision-making.
Requirements for the Planning Monitoring and Reporting consultant
To qualify for the consultant post, candidates must demonstrate professional expertise in Results-Based Management.
- Academic Degree: Masterโs degree in Project Management, International Development, or a related field is required.
- Relevant Experience: At least five years of experience as a Planning Monitoring and Reporting consultant or in a similar international development role.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of office packages and experience handling web-based management systems is mandatory.
