Programmatic Support and Advocacy
The core focus of this IOM Remote Internship is to enhance the quality and visibility of MHPSS interventions. The intern will work under the direct supervision of the MHPSS Programme Coordinator to identify operational gaps and design innovative approaches for psychosocial integration.

Eligibility and Required Profile
The IOM Remote Internship Programme is strictly designed for students and graduates who meet the following criteria:
- Academic Background: Currently enrolled in a Masterโs Degree Programme in Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or a related social science field. Recent graduates must commence the internship within one year of graduation.
- Technical Experience: Experience in applying rights-based approaches to public and mental health across diverse settings is highly valued.
- Remote Competency: Proven ability to manage a remote workload effectively and maintain productivity within virtual, multicultural teams.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and oral) is mandatory. A working knowledge of Arabic is considered a significant advantage.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 20 and 36 years old.
Terms and Conditions
- Stipend: IOM provides a small monthly stipend to help offset costs, depending on the intern’s location and experience.
- Insurance: IOM covers interns against occupational accidents and illnesses. However, interns are responsible for their own non-occupational medical insurance.
- Zero Tolerance: IOM maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual exploitation, abuse, and discrimination.
