Key Responsibilities

The Paynow Sales Agent will identify, qualify, recruit, and activate community hub agent partners while onboarding independent uVend Device Operators using the float-and-commission model. The successful candidate will conduct customer discovery conversations using the IDEA consultative sales framework, maintain operator float levels, and support transaction volume growth across the assigned network.

Responsibilities also include monitoring device accountability, escalating hardware issues within 24 hours, recording all field activities in the CRM system, submitting daily end-of-day and weekly pipeline reports, and achieving quarterly sales performance targets. The role further involves gathering market intelligence, monitoring competitor activity, identifying customer needs, collecting feedback from the field, and implementing performance improvements based on management feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have proven direct sales or distribution experience within informal markets, community-based sales environments, or street-level commercial activities. Candidates should demonstrate experience recruiting or managing agents, vendors, or distribution partners and possess the ability to independently negotiate and close commercial agreements.

Experience using mobile money platforms, digital wallets, or payment systems such as EcoCash, InnBucks, or similar solutions is required. A formal qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field will be considered an added advantage.
