The Marketing Communications and PR officer will be based in Harare, the selected professional will steer WUA’s public profile, translate academic research and student success stories into compelling media narratives, and execute data-driven enrollment campaigns. Key Responsibilities and Performance Deliverables

The daily portfolio for the selected Marketing, Communications and PR officer bridges macro-level market intelligence, multimedia content production, and institutional image management.

1. Market Research & Strategic Enrollment Marketing

  • Intelligence Gathering: The Marketing Communications and PR officer will be responsible for Conducting continuous market research to identify viable new student segments, professional corporate training groups, and sustainable business channels.
  • Trend Auditing: The Marketing Communications and PR officer will be responsible for Monitoring competitor academic programs, pricing indexes, local student demographics, and employment data to refine the university’s recruitment outreach strategies.
  • Campaign Formulation: The Marketing Communications and PR officer will be responsible for Assisting in drafting and executing the university’s annual Master Marketing Plan and Business Development Plan to maximize brand visibility, enrollment targets, and operational growth.
