1. Evidence-Based Research & Value Chain Database Architecture
- Database Maintenance: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Undertaking evidence-based research and maintaining a comprehensive national statistical database to analyze industrial productivity across all economic sectors.
- Value Chain Reporting: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Producing highly detailed Value Chain Competitiveness Reports to identify structural cost drivers and market bottlenecks.
- Macroeconomic Analysis: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Providing regular, systematic analysis of the local and regional macroeconomic environment to advise on national trade positioning.
2. Regulatory Impact Assessments (RIA) & Legislative Reform
- Legislative Evaluation: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Utilizing Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) frameworks to analyze the cost and policy implications of proposed new or existing state legislation.
- Regulatory Reviewing: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Conducting periodic regulatory reviews to identify regulatory gaps, recommending statutory improvements, or proposing targeted repeals.
- Strategy Formulation: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Assisting in the formulation of nationwide competitiveness frameworks, national productivity strategies, and institutional annual plans.
3. Multi-Sector Stakeholder Liaison & Committee Coordination
- Institutional Networking: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Liaising regularly with development partners, private sponsors, government ministries, academia, and Business Management Organizations (BMOs).
- Policy Support: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Providing administrative policy support, coordinating high-level cross-sector committees, and leading technical working meetings.
- Inter-Agency Representation: The NCC Research & Policy Analyst will focus on Representing the commission effectively on active inter-agency working groups to form sound institutional relationships.
Qualifications, Experience & Technical Requirements
