Grand Homes, a property development company, is recruiting a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction activities across its projects. The Grand Homes Maintenance Manager will be responsible for coordinating technical teams, managing site operations, and ensuring all works meet required construction, safety, and quality standards.
The role requires a strong construction and maintenance professional with the ability to manage multiple sites, supervise contractors and internal teams, and ensure effective delivery of property development and maintenance projects. The Grand Homes Maintenance Manager will also play a key role in budgeting, procurement, and project planning within the organisation.
โช Overseeing all maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction activities
โช Supervising maintenance staff, construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
โช Planning, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance and construction projects
โช Reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and service drawings
โช Procuring and managing materials, equipment, and services
โช Conducting site inspections and enforcing quality control standards
โช Monitoring budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
โช Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and building regulations
โช Implementing preventative maintenance programmes
โช Preparing reports and providing management updates
โช Resolving technical and operational challenges efficiently
Minimum Requirements
Applicants for the Grand Homes Maintenance Manager position must hold a Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Project Management qualification will be an added advantage.
Candidates must have at least 5 yearsโ experience in maintenance management, construction supervision, or site management. Practical experience in at least two construction trades such as bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, tiling, plastering, painting, or welding is required.
Strong competence in preparing and interpreting BOQs, material schedules, and cost estimates is essential. A valid driverโs licence is also required.
Skills & Competencies
The Grand Homes Maintenance Manager must demonstrate strong technical construction knowledge, leadership capability, and project coordination skills. The role requires excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Candidates must also demonstrate strong organisational skills, budgeting awareness, and the ability to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across all sites.
