Key Responsibilities
The Geo Pomona Accounting Graduate Trainees will assist the Finance Department by capturing finance and operational support data accurately, ensuring that all information is complete and submitted within agreed timelines. The trainees will also support SAP backlog data capturing by ensuring that financial information is entered accurately using approved source documents and in accordance with supervisor instructions.
Another important responsibility involves supporting ZIMRA fiscalisation compliance by reviewing financial documents, identifying non-compliant records, and escalating exceptions promptly for corrective action.
The successful candidates will also assist with asset tagging activities, support the maintenance of the organisational asset register, document exceptions where necessary, and help ensure that company assets are accurately recorded and monitored. Regular progress reports and exception lists will be prepared for review by the Senior Accountant, providing trainees with valuable experience in financial reporting and operational accountability.
Qualifications and Skills
