AB Communications is recruiting a Group Business Development Manager to lead business growth initiatives and commercial strategy across its subsidiaries. The role combines strategic planning with operational execution and is designed for an experienced professional who can identify new revenue opportunities, build partnerships, and support long-term organisational growth.
The Group Business Development Manager will work closely with the Group Managing Director and Business Unit Heads to develop annual business development plans and budgets. The successful candidate will also help convert marketing opportunities into sustainable revenue streams while supporting sales and promotional activities across the group.

Key Responsibilities
The Group Business Development Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing annual business development strategies that align with corporate objectives. The role includes identifying new business opportunities, preparing concept notes and business plans, analysing market opportunities, and providing recommendations that support growth.
The successful candidate will also source sponsorships, promotions, and interactive revenue opportunities while working with subsidiary sales teams to maximise commercial returns. In addition, the role requires developing creative multi-platform advertising solutions, securing strategic partnerships, and identifying events that match the organisation’s target markets.
Collaboration across sales, marketing, programming, and creative departments will be essential to deliver solutions that meet client needs and generate value for the business.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants for the Group Business Development Manager role should hold a degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, or another relevant discipline. An MBA or Master of Business Leadership qualification will be considered an added advantage.
