Enterprise Risk Analytics Manager – Corporate Risk (Level 8)

About the Role

The Enterprise Risk Analytics Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-wide risk analytics frameworks, dashboards, key risk indicators, and intelligence reporting tools to support strategic decision-making.

The role focuses on using analytical models and data-driven approaches to identify, measure, monitor, and report on risks affecting ZIMRA’s strategic objectives and operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop risk analytics frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools to strengthen enterprise risk management. The role involves designing analytical models for risk identification and assessment, monitoring internal and external environments for emerging risks, and applying statistical analysis, predictive analytics, scenario analysis, stress testing, and quantitative risk assessment techniques.

The successful candidate will also improve risk data management processes, establish data governance standards, prepare executive risk reports, manage team performance, and promote risk awareness across the organisation.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, ICT, or a business-related discipline. Candidates must have at least five years’ postgraduate experience in Risk Management and/or Data Analytics. Experience in a supervisory or management role will be an added advantage.

Professional certifications such as FRM, CRISC, CERM, CRMA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or equivalent are mandatory. An MBA or Master’s degree in Risk Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field will be an added advantage. Experience working within Customs, Domestic Taxes, or a tax environment will also be beneficial.


Database Administrator – ICT (Level 8)

About the Role

The Database Administrator will manage and support ZIMRA’s database environments, including critical platforms such as ASYCUDA and related systems. The role requires a professional capable of ensuring database availability, security, performance, and reliability through effective administration and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

The successful ZIMRA Job Vacancies candidate will install and support software used by ASYCUDA, including Oracle and Linux environments. The role includes administering and monitoring SQL Server databases, validating and restoring backups, resolving database incidents, investigating recurring issues, and implementing permanent solutions.

The Database Administrator will maintain database inventories, licences, and configurations while ensuring secure database standards are maintained. The position also involves managing server resources, creating user accounts, and controlling database structures including transaction codes, tables, records, and other database components.

Qualifications and Experience

The ZIMRA Job Vacancies Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Candidates must have at least two years’ experience in a related field.

Professional certification in database administration or systems engineering is required. Recognised certifications include Oracle Certified Professional (OCA/OCP Database Administration), Oracle Cloud Foundations, Oracle Autonomous Databases, Oracle Data Guard technologies, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), CompTIA Database+, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer.

Knowledge or experience working with Customs and Excise or trade systems will be an added advantage. A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence is a prerequisite.


Systems Support Analyst, Customs – ICT (Level 8)

About the Role

The Systems Support Analyst will provide technical support for Customs and Excise business applications, ensuring reliable operation of systems including ASYCUDA, ECTS, Single Window, eTIP, and related integrations.

The ZIMRA Job Vacancies role involves troubleshooting system issues, improving application performance, and supporting business continuity across ZIMRA’s technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful ZIMRA Job Vacancies candidate will provide first and second-level technical support for Customs and Excise applications and resolve incidents within agreed service level requirements. Responsibilities include managing support tickets, monitoring application performance, implementing system updates, testing configurations, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with ICT governance and data protection requirements.

The role will also support disaster recovery processes, collaborate with internal ICT teams and external vendors, provide user guidance, analyse system performance reports, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

The ZIMRA Job Vacancies Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline. Candidates must have at least two years’ experience supporting enterprise business systems or applications.

Applicants should have experience troubleshooting application and system incidents, knowledge of IT Service Management practices such as ITIL incident and problem management, and experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Knowledge or experience working with Customs and Excise or trade systems will be an added advantage. A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence is required.
