About the Role
The Corporate Finance and Policy Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing market policies, reviewing corporate actions submitted to the Commission, and ensuring compliance with issuer disclosure requirements. The role also involves conducting market research, monitoring economic developments, managing enterprise risk management initiatives, and leading market development programmes aimed at strengthening Zimbabwe’s financial markets.
In addition, the successful candidate will support fintech engagement initiatives and regulatory sandbox testing programmes designed to encourage innovation within the capital markets sector.
Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Finance and Policy Manager will oversee policy formulation and implementation while ensuring that regulatory frameworks remain aligned with industry best practices and evolving market requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing disclosures submitted by listed companies, analysing corporate actions, conducting market research, managing enterprise risk management processes, and identifying market development opportunities.
The position also requires collaboration with local and regional regulatory bodies to promote market growth and improve regulatory effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Applicants for the Corporate Finance and Policy Manager position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, Banking, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline is required. Professional qualifications relevant to finance, investment management, or regulatory compliance will be considered an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have at least five years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, merchant banking, capital markets, or a related investment environment. Experience in policy development, financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and risk management will be highly advantageous for this role.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge of corporate finance and capital markets together with excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
