Core Responsibilities: Fleet Maintenance & GPS Integration

The Turbomining Auto-Electrician ensures that production never halts due to electrical failure.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine, scheduled, and planned maintenance activities to ensure consistent service availability for user departments.
  • Rapid Breakdown Response: Attend to electrical breakdowns within the area of responsibility, executing repairs within specified timeframes to minimize operational downtime.
  • Technical Assembly: Disassemble and assemble equipment and accessories by following technical manuals, written SOPs, or verbal instructions.
  • Precision Installations: Perform GPS installations on tractors and other fleet assets as required for tracking and operational efficiency.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to company safety and quality standards (SHE issues) and maintain a high standard of housekeeping within work areas.
  • Documentation: Complete all work order documentation on the day of the task and submit it to the Foreman for records and compliance.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

Turbomining requires a “Time Served” professional with a deep understanding of heavy machinery electronics.

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ hands-on experience working specifically with light vehicles, tractors, trucks, buses, and heavy-duty yellow machines.
  • Diagnostic Proficiency: High-level knowledge of modern computer-controlled diagnostic systems and excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Technical Literacy: The ability to accurately read and interpret complex user manuals and technical diagrams.
