Core Responsibilities: Operational Safety & Site Coordination
The JTL Tipper Driver is responsible for maintaining high productivity while strictly adhering to safety protocols in a rugged mining environment.
- Material Transport: Safely operate tipper trucks to transport, load, and offload sand, gravel, stones, and mining waste.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections covering brakes, tyres, lights, fuel, and greasing before and after every trip.
- Site Support: Coordinate effectively with loaders, spotters, and flagmen to ensure precise delivery and collection as per work schedules.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to road traffic laws, site-specific rules, and company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
- Reporting: Promptly report all mechanical faults, vehicle damages, or site accidents to the supervisor to ensure continuous operation.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
JTL Equipment requires candidates who meet the following professional standards:
- Licensing: A clean Class 2 Driver’s Licence.
- Certifications: A valid Defensive Driving Certificate, current retest, and valid medical certificate.
- Technical Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience driving SINO, HOWO, or equivalent trucks, specifically within a mining environment.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills.
