Stagri Brands, a leading agriculture-focused company specializing in the production, aggregation, and export of chilli, is inviting applications for a Stagri Driver position. This role is essential to the company’s value chain, ensuring the seamless movement of produce from local farms to regional and international markets.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic logistics team, operating a fleet that includes 4-tonne, 9-tonne, and 30-tonne trucks. This position requires a professional who is comfortable with both local deliveries and cross-border transportation.

Core Responsibilities: Logistics and Fleet Safety
The Stagri Driver is responsible for more than just transportation; they are a key link in the agricultural supply chain.
- Transport & Delivery: Safely drive company trucks (ranging from 4t to 30t) to collect and deliver produce and materials. Ensuring all assignments are completed on time is a top priority.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular basic vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and maintain the cleanliness of the assigned truck.
- Cargo Oversight: Ensure the proper loading and offloading of goods to prevent damage to delicate chilli produce.
- Administrative Compliance: Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records in accordance with road safety regulations and company procedures.
- Regional Travel: Be prepared for field assignments within Zimbabwe and cross-border trips when required.
Requirements and Qualifications
Stagri is looking for a mature, reliable driver who can operate with minimal supervision.
- Academic Background: At least 5 “O” Level passes, including English Language.
- Licensing: A clean Class 2 Driver’s Licence and a valid Defensive Driving Certificate are mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar heavy-vehicle driving role.
- Travel Credentials: A valid passport is essential, along with a willingness to travel extensively both within and outside Zimbabwe.
- Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of discipline regarding road safety.
