Core Responsibilities: Driving Growth & Operational Excellence
The Ulendo Business Development Officer acts as the primary driver for both new business acquisition and the maintenance of high service standards.
- Strategic Business Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities and corporate partnerships. You will be responsible for preparing proposals and promoting the company’s service offerings to meet revenue targets.
- Service Centre Management: Oversee daily operations, including workflow coordination, monitoring job progress, and maintaining accurate reporting systems for service quality.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the lead point of contact for service escalations and build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Technical & Service Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers regarding parts and warranties while ensuring accurate diagnosis and repair of electronic products in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Performance Tracking: Manage service centre inventory and tools while preparing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue.
Person Specification: Qualifications & Experience
Our client is looking for a leader with strong business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, retail operations, or service centre management. At least 1 year of this must be in a supervisory role.
- Technical Knowledge: A good understanding of technical products, including computers, hardware, and general electronics.
- Essential Skills: Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Licensing: A valid driver’s licence is mandatory.
